What's in a name name?
You may be wondering why we named our house "Hale Kane"? Well, we believe every house deserves a name - why should boats have all the fun?
We're also a bit too into tiki culture, have work ties in Hawaii (which we obviously had to work into this), and our street is Duquesne - sounds like "Du Kane," - so, naturally, we saw an opportunity.
In Hawaiian, "Kane" means man and "Hale" means house, so voila! Our home became "Hale Kane," aka the Men's House.
It's part culture, part wordplay, and 100% us.
